Marsh Warbler

Started on the patch as usual but nothing really of interest except the high number of Swifts on site today.
So met up with danny and the his daughter for a trip to Hen Reedbed for a showy Marsh Warbler, it was a cracker.

Whilst watching the Marsh Warbler it was nice to see another small movement of Red Kites with 3 birds seen coming in off along with 2 Buzzards. Other birds of note were a few showy Bearded tits and a very unusual and possibly a first site record of a Nuthatch. 3 Med Gulls were a nice surprise too. Finally a Cuckoo calling a 2 Adult Hobby's.
Great day cheers Danny.
