Titchwell and North Norfolk.

Had another great weekend Camping in North Norfolk. Saturday I spent the afternoon sat at Titchwell waiting for the Great Knot to wake up and come closely, unfortunately close it didn't!!!!

Whilst waiting for the Great Knot a Hobby sped over the marsh and a Spoonbill dropped in briefly.

It was great to  watch at least 3 Spotted Redshanks, 2 in almost full Summer Plumage including this bird ringed in The Netherlands!

There were 2 Little Gulls which showed really nicely.

The Avocets and Black tailed Godwits also showed well and nice to get a bit of sunshine.

Back to the tent and on the heath, the Dartford Warblers showed well with a Linnet.

I had a look at the Orchids on Beeston Common, Life ticks in the form of Fragrant Orchids and Marsh Helleborine. Whilst taking pics of the Orchids a bit of a surprise when an Adder slithered past me.

There were plenty of Common Spotted orchids too.

Back on the heath and plenty of Nightjars.

Next Morning more Dartfords, Woodlarks Singing but no Turtle doves.
Another superb weekend that I didn't want to end.
