Family time

Another trip to Kelling Heath was on the cards this long weekend but a very much family trip with little birding done. Mainly early morning and late evening were the only opportunities I got. It was nice to hear the Nightjars over the tent and then the Turtle Doves, Woodlarks and Dartford Warbler on the heath.

We also spotted things like Roe Deer, Muntjack and Common Lizards.

The rest of the time was spent on the campsite and the NNR

  1. Indeed a nice post! These photos are simply great and event looked interesting. I wish I could have attended it. However, was busy in arranging a family event at local lofty spaces in LA. It was just a fabulous evening that we all spent together.
