Corton Bench's Seawatch Friday 6th October.

It was hard work 8am to 1545 as numbers of birds werent great but species wise its the best day on the patch all year.

1 Adult Winter Sabine's Gull Picked up with an Adult Med Gull for Comparison and was trying to work out why it wasnt a Kittiwake. Grey back dark edge to the wing (no W) small mark to the back of the head . Couldnt pick out the tail shape, (too distant for that) eventually i convinced and confirmed to myself that this was infact an Adult Sabine's Gull. Patch tick and its been a while since my last Sabs Gull. I took a few pics but the pics were that bad you couldn't even make out the bird.
