Montagu's Harrier

Well im not sorry about blogging about a Monties that has set up home at Hollesley this year, seeing as all the so called elite birders have been told im not having mate only telling mates of birds on my patch...either no one knows or everyone... the birds safely in MOD land so no one can go in and see it anyway. you can see it from the fence if your patient.

I got lucky today and saw the male distantly. Anyone that has a problem with this blog... sod ya.

Anyway back to something nice, The yellowhammers are looking superb.

Back on the Marsh, 255 Black tailed Godwit with 2 Continental types. Lots of Avocet and up to 9 Spoonbill. The Barn owl shows nicely at times. 3 Common Sand and 2 Dunlin the best of the rest.
