Patching

The weekend was poor on the land ward patching with just a coupe of Fieldfares to add to my yearlist. 16 Red legged partridge was a surprising count.
Today i took a couple of pictures of the destruction of more of the patch and excellent area in prime times holding stuff such as Dusky Warbler and common migrants... Now Gone. nice bit of open water now though but certainly wont replace whats lost..

Windy as hell today so sat on Corton Bench for a couple of hours seawatch. It was actually pretty good with treble figure Wigeon with smaller numbers of Shelduck, Teal, Pintail Gadwall and Mallard.
Fulmar, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Redthroated divers too. A distant auk added to the watch.

Patch year list up to 65.
