1st to 6th July Hollesley RSPB

 Its amazing to still have water in the Hollesley scrape, It means theirs birds.... This week has been good for Spoonbills and other bits. Totals this week and mainly today have been;

1 Ruff (new in today)

5 Little Ringed Plover

6 Ringed Plover

1 Dunlin

2 Common Sandpiper

1 Wood Sandpiper

2 Green Sandpiper

8 Spoonbill (16 max count by others)

32 Med Gulls (Big movement today, record count but not Juvies)

2 Hobby

100+ Black tailed Godwit

1 Bar tailed Godwit

75+ Avocet

6 Sandwich Tern

4 Common Tern

1 Yellow Wagtail

500 Sand Martin

So really good numbers, only a matter of time before another good wader turns up.

Gulls have started turning up with 2 3rd Summer Caspian Gulls. 









On the heath Dartfords and Woodlarks still.
