August
Before hollesley dried up 2 Greenshank and 3 Little Ringed Plover. Spoonbill numbers up to 18 again. Yellow billed Teal was fresh in and the White cheeked pintail was still here.
All the waters gone now as of mid August so its been pretty quiet on the hole.
When i say quiet we have had a Black stork in the ditches towards Boyton, i did find it in one small pool opposite the Prison one morning along side a Great white Egret and 3 Green Sands, also 3 Snipe.
In other news i counted no less than 120 Wasp Spiders between Hollesely and Boyton.

Lifer wise the Fan tailed Warbler at Walberswick was a nice addition to my list, i went the first weekend and saw a male and female bird, evidently the are no know to have bred getting 4 young away. First for Suffolk and first successful breeding in the uk.
A patch tick last weekend 23.08.25 was a Greenish Warbler found at Shingle street, Gave us the run around but heard it calling and even singing at times. Had a good run of patch ticks as of late.
