I've returned from Lesvos and have a shed load of pics to sort out so ill update you on the patch first of all.
An Osprey was a nice added bird for the weekend, a male Greenland Wheatear was a real beauty. Whimbrel still around as is Greenshanks and Ruff. Bearded tits were pinging away in the reeds and news of a Short eared owl came out, i was on the river bank by the water and the owl was behind me, thanks john for the heads up. Managed brief views on the deck and then as it flew off being mobbed by a Magpie.
2 Grey plover on the scrape was unusual, these are usually on the river or fly overs. A Spoonbill dropped in.
