We got to the roadside scrape at Campfield and pretty soon we were watching the Great White Egret fishing. Good numbers of Snipe and Teal were Present as was a male Peregrine.

3rd November Great White Egret
So a Great White Egret had turned up at Campfield yesterday, i had some free time today so decided to go take a look, I picked Keith up on route, We checked out a couple of spots on the way but the only things of note were 60 Whooper Swans and 100+ Barnacle Geese with the family of 4 Leucistic birds at Anthorn.
We got to the roadside scrape at Campfield and pretty soon we were watching the Great White Egret fishing. Good numbers of Snipe and Teal were Present as was a male Peregrine.
We had a look upi to Bowness railings but there was little else of real note. We finished with more views of the Egret.
